DP Arts Consortium to Produce Live Culture at PhillyCAM

Art-of-the-HeelDP Arts will be producing an evening of performance, dance, and storytelling for PhillyCAM’s Live Culture event on Friday, July 6 at 7:00PM, taped in front of a studio audience.

“Art Of The Heel” presents the program “I, Too, Sing America” with performances of art songs by African American composers, traditional spirituals, and songs from the civil rights movement featuring the voices of: Cookie Diorio, Veronica Chapman-Smith, Shahara Benson, Shakira Jackson, and Matthew Brower.

Live Culture is a live TV program and event series produced by PhillyCAM. Live Culture will bring an unprecedented program of local arts and culture to live television. Each First Friday event is curated by a different local arts and culture organization or group, and showcases performances by talented Philadelphians.
